KMFA is proud to be one of the media sponsors for the Austin Film Festival and we’ll be involved with a couple presentations. We hope that you can make it out these events.

On Thursday, October 24, Dianne Donovan will be introducing the documentary film Pipe Dreams by Stacey Tenenbaum. The film chronicles the fears, expectations, motivations, and artistry of five of the twenty competitors in one of the most important organ competitions in the world. Having seen an advance copy, I can tell you that this film will give you a whole new respect for the mighty pipe organ and the musicians who master it. There will be a Q+A with the film maker and one of the participants after the screening.
