Your Legacy of Generosity for KMFA
There are many ways to create a meaningful legacy to help ensure the future of KMFA Classical 89.5, such as including a bequest in your will or living trust that may also provide tax and financial benefits to you, depending on your circumstances and objectives.
Ways to Give
Wills, life insurance, and retirement accounts provide excellent ways for you to sustain KMFA for the future, enabling you to make a larger impact than might otherwise be possible. Estate planning is accessible to almost anyone, regardless of their financial circumstances. By adding language to your will or by naming KMFA as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy or retirement plan, you can ensure that your funds are sustaining and shaping KMFA for future listeners.
Please consult your professional advisors for guidance on how planned giving programs may help you fulfill your philanthropic wishes. Your legal counsel will ensure you have the proper legal statement of how you wish your possessions to be distributed.
A sample legacy gift
Each year, hundreds of community members support KMFA by pledging $1,000 annually and are included in the Masters Circle, KMFA’s leadership level of giving. By going one step further and including a provision in your will of at least $25,000, you could support KMFA at the Masters Circle level in perpetuity.
