Pride in Local Music ® is a dynamic music festival that began during the COVID pandemic as a way for the Austin LGBT Chamber to support Austin’s Live Music scene and creative economy.

Since its inception, the Chamber has supported more than 25 local LGBTQIA+ artists through the festival.

The festival celebrates local music through the vibrant diversity of the rainbow heartbeat of the Live Music Capital of the World. A portion of proceeds goes to the Austin LGBT Chamber Education Fund, which provides scholarships to LGBTQ+ and allied students who exhibit strong potential in leadership, academic ability and involvement in their communities.

Previous Pride in Local Music performers include Latin Grammy nominee Gina Chavez, Caleb De Casper, Tje Austin, Pelvis Wrestley, BabiBoi, Julie Effin' Nolen, promqueen, Patrice Pike, Melissa Carper, and more!
