Love, friendship, and heartbreak take center stage in Giacomo Puccini’s timeless masterpiece, La Bohème—one of the most beloved operas of all time and the inspiration for the Tony Award–winning musical RENT.

Set in Paris’s Latin Quarter, La Bohème follows four young artists scraping by while chasing their dreams. Their unbreakable bond of friendship sustains them through cold garrets and crowded cafés—until love complicates everything. Poet Rodolfo falls instantly for the fragile, radiant Mimì, while painter Marcello finds himself once again captivated by the irresistible Musetta. For a fleeting moment, the air is filled with laughter, passion, and possibility—until the harsh realities of poverty and illness threaten to shatter their bohemian ideal.

Puccini’s soaring, emotionally charged score captures every nuance of the human heart, from the exhilaration of first love to the opera’s devastating conclusion.
