Presenter Details

  • Name: Arts on Alexander
  • The founding board members of Arts on Alexander (AoA) established the nonprofit organization in 2019 after decades of serving and participating in Austin’s artistic community.

AoA has hosted choral and instrumental organizations, including the Texas Early Music Project, La Follia Austin Baroque, Conspirare, Inversion Ensemble, and numerous national and international musicians on its East Austin campus.

AoA seeks to provide a place where community development and artistic and cultural development can grow together.

As Austin is a dynamic and fast-growing city, AoA provides a common thread that brings diverse communities together for the benefit of the city and its people.

AoA will continue to develop and expand concerts for our friends in Greater Austin:

    • Concerts featuring our period instrument orchestra, Philharmonie Austin, and our choir, Philharmonie Austin Chorus.

    • Continue to bring talented organists from all over the country to play in our Holbrook Organ Series. We have hosted more than 70 of these concerts.

    • Continue to host touring ensembles from the US and from Europe.
