Join KMFA for a six-day tour of the Berkshires in Western Massachusetts, featuring some of the finest summer music, theatre, and dance in the U.S. KMFA host Dianne Donavan will accompany this deluxe tour, exploring a beautiful region of New England known for its storybook charm, Gilded Age mansions, and rich cultural events.  

The tour highlights include the world-renowned Tanglewood Festival, summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where we'll attend four concerts, three by the BSO. Experience the spectacular Tanglewood on Parade with the BSO and Boston Pops, and performances by music superstars Joshua Bell and Yo-Yo Ma.  

In addition to the music, we'll enjoy a performance by the acclaimed Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company at Jacob's Pillow, the nation's best dance festival, and two plays at Shakespeare & Company: Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and August Wilson's The Piano Lesson.  

During the days, we will visit Gilded Age mansions like Edith Wharton's The Mount, the Norman Rockwell Museum, the Bauhaus-inspired Frelinghuysen Morris House, MassMOCA (the world's largest contemporary art museum), and the Sterling Clark Art Institute.  

Our accommodations will be at characteristic New England inns in Lenox, Mass.
