Join KMFA as we celebrate Black History Month with a special Listen Local broadcast of selections from the 2019 Black History Month Concert, featuring the University of Texas Concert Chorale, led by Stacy V. Gibbs, and the Huston-Tillotson University Concert Choir, conducted by Dr. Gloria Quinlan. This celebration of the music of African-American composers features works from Duke Ellington, William Grant Still, Margaret Bonds, and Florence Price, alongside traditional spirituals and songs. Enjoy Friday night’s broadcast at 6:00 p.m. and mark your calendar to attend the 2020 concert on Saturday, February 22.
