Its name derived from creation mythology found in Native American Folklore, the Turtle Island Quartet, since forming in 1985, has been a beacon of bold, and new sounds in chamber music! A Two time Grammy Award winner, KMFA is glad to welcome them live in Studio 2000! They played two selections, David Balakrishnan's Rebirth of the Holy Fool and Mateusz Smoczynski's Bouncin' with Bud. Carmel O'Donovan hosted the foursome in KMFA's Studio 2000.
