BATCH CRAFT BEER & KOLACHES PRESENTS
UNDER THE HOOD
WITH INVOKE AND SPECIAL GUEST AUDREY PRICE
Mon, Oct 6 at 7:30 p.m. | Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches
Austin’s genre-bending string quartet Invoke continues their monthly concert series Under the Hood at Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches (3220 Manor Road, Austin, TX 78723). Each show begins with Invoke lifting the lid on their latest creative experiments—new works, reimagined arrangements, and spontaneous improvisations—before welcoming a guest artist for a one-of-a-kind collaboration.
October Guest: Audrey Price
Monday, October 6, 2025 | 7:30 p.m. | Free and open to everyone
This month, Invoke is joined by Austin-based indie folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Audrey Price. Known for her poetic lyrics and dynamic folk instrumentals, Price blends contemporary folk with elements of rock and country, creating music that feels both timeless and fresh. Her work is deeply rooted in authentic storytelling, often exploring themes of emotional growth, vulnerability, and self-reflection.
Price is signed with local label UTalent Records and is preparing to release her debut album, From the Floor, in Spring 2025. Her most recent single, Theoretical, has already begun to build buzz across streaming platforms. She is also a familiar presence on Austin stages, with a headline performance set for Mohawk Austin later in October.
As a multi-instrumentalist, self-taught vocalist, and producer, Price brings a rare combination of craft and emotional honesty to her performances—making her collaboration with Invoke an evening not to be missed.
About Invoke
Described by Strings Magazine as a group that “cannot be contained by any one label,” Invoke (Nick Montopoli, violin/banjo/vocals; Zach Matteson, violin/vocals; Karl Mitze, viola/mandolin/vocals; Geoff Manyin, cello/vocals) has earned a reputation for adventurous music-making that blurs boundaries between classical, folk, bluegrass, and jazz. Winners of the M-Prize International Chamber Arts Competition and the Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition, Invoke brings innovation and storytelling into every performance.
About Batch
Under the Hood takes place at Batch Craft Beer & Kolaches, a family-owned bakery, taproom, and brewery in East Austin. Batch is beloved for elevating the Central Texas kolache with gourmet fillings from Micklethwait Craft Meats and fresh local fruit, paired with a rotating lineup of craft beer from Austin, across the U.S., and around the world. With a full coffee and espresso program in partnership with Greater Goods Roasting, Batch is a community hub where carbs, coffee, and creativity collide.
Together, Invoke and Audrey Price promise an evening of experimentation, storytelling, and Austin-born artistry—an experience that could only happen under the hood.
The concert is free and open to the public (beer & kolaches not included).
