Oct 31-Nov 4, 2022 | KMFA Classical 89.5

KMFA Classical 89.5 and Austin Soundwaves are partnering again for the 2022 Fall Into Music Instrument Drive taking place October 31-November 4, 2022. The drive is an annual city-wide push to collect new and gently-used instruments for area schools and youth music programs.

"The Fall Into Music drive does incredible work for our community," said Jessica MacNair, Orchestra Director of IDEA Montopolis College Preparatory. "The instrument drive helps ensure a a musical instrument is avaialble for all who want to participate in a music ensemble."

Austin Soundwaves collects all new or gently used instruments, accessories, sheet music, and more to distibute to area schools and nonprofits. This year there many schools are experiencing a high demand for brass and woodwind instruments (Trumpet, Trombone, Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone).

Donations will be accepted at three drop-off locations. Donations are tax-deductable and each donor will receive a tax receipt. Acceptable donations include strings, brass, woodwind instruments, accessories, books and sheet music.
